Finding a nearby tyre shop: frequently asked questions

The directory limits displayed results to five per district to keep comparisons manageable. Search and service filters are applied before that limit, so a different neighbourhood or business-name search can reveal other matching records.

No. Distances are measured in a straight line between your position and a recorded business location. Use the directions link for a route. Ask a mobile service about its team's location and arrival estimate.

Choose a district from the district list. The Business or neighbourhood search field accepts a business name, neighbourhood or street; press Filter to apply your choices. A neighbourhood will not match if it does not appear in the recorded address, so broaden the search when needed.

Not necessarily. Ratings and distance describe different things. Google Maps ratings do not establish proximity, current opening status, availability or whether a business can carry out the work you need.

Browsing profiles, viewing contact details and applying for a basic business listing are free. Tyres, labour and mobile attendance are separate services; agree on their costs directly with the business.

A mobile service attends the vehicle for work it has agreed to carry out there. A workshop service takes place at the business address. Explain the vehicle, location and requested job to find out which option the business can offer.

Call the business and ask about working hours, whether it can accept your request and any appointment needed. A business name containing emergency or 24/7 is not confirmation that a team is currently available.

No. Viewing a profile does not create a service request. A call link lets you contact the business; you must agree on acceptance of the request, the work and the price scope directly with it.

Yes. In the results, choose Replacement under Service and Mobile under Service type, then press Filter. The filters match recorded service information, not live availability. Confirm your location, vehicle and the requested work by phone.

Prepare your district or map location, vehicle model, what you have noticed and the service you need. Share tyre markings you can read, but do not guess an unknown size or a diagnosis. Ask about availability and the complete price scope.

Language support has not been verified for individual businesses. Ask the business which languages it can assist you in. A written message with your location and vehicle details may help you explain the request, but it is not a confirmed booking.

No. Google Maps ratings are shown separately with their source, review count and collection date. Experiences submitted to this directory require review before publication and are not combined with the Google Maps rating.

Not necessarily. It may be a business photo or a Street View location image; its source is shown in the gallery. A person in an image is not assumed to be the owner. A missing sourced image is shown with a photo-unavailable label and a shop icon.

Use the information-correction link in the relevant profile. Identify the detail that changed and provide the correct information if known. Applications are saved for review; they are not automatically published or forwarded as tyre-service requests.

Use the free business application or the claim form linked from the relevant profile. Provide accurate contact and authority information. Applying does not automatically publish a listing, verify ownership or award a quality badge.

No application guarantees a preferred position or quality endorsement. District lists are alphabetical by default, with rating and review-count options. Location searches use straight-line distance to recorded coordinates. The five-per-district limit is applied after searching and filtering.
